On March 29, 2023, the US District Court dismissed the case for lack of standing, and we immediately appealed that ruling.  On Tuesday, November 14th, at 10:00 AM the Second Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments for this case.  You may listen to the argument by following this link

As a quick review of the case, here are some highlights.

• On August 30, 2021, CCDL along with several other plaintiffs sued Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport, and Waterbury because pistol permit application processing was slowed to the point of an effective shut down for the residents of these cities.
• On April 7, 2022 all parties agreed to dismiss Waterbury from the suit.
• As mentioned above, on March 29, 2023, the US District Court Dismissed the case without a hearing and CCDL appealed the decision.
