On May 27th, 2021, AmmoLand.com released an article by John Petrolino recognizing Connecticut Citizens Defense League and the efforts of its members in its first “Dinner Out” fundraising event. Petrolino brought praise to CCDL by stating, “ …if Connecticut, the third smallest state in the country can pull something like that off while being surrounded by a sea of blue, other states really have no excuse.“
